Who We Are
East Texas Psychiatry and Counseling is a community-based mental health care practice. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care throughout the East Texas Region. Our team of psychiatric nurse practitioners provides comprehensive services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and counseling based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
We specialize in supporting individuals in outpatient settings, long-term care facilities, and community-based environments. This helps to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and promote stability in the least restrictive setting possible.
Our approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the populations we serve. We are conveniently located in central Tyler and would love to meet you in person, but we understand that with the busyness of life, that's not always possible. After your first in-person evaluation, we offer virtual appointments to meet you where you are.
